delivery
we aim to dispatch orders within 2-3 days. often it’s sooner.
most deliveries will require a signature at the delivery.
please note that delivery costs can vary when delivering internationally
or to the far reaches of the united kingdom.
if we have to charge more for delivery we will contact you before
your order is dispatched if further shipping costs are required.
delivery charges are calculated automatically so if you feel the
delivery quoted at checkout is too high please feel free to
contact us before placing the order and we can look into it.

please note that the customer is responsible for any customs or
import duties when the package reaches its country of destination.
we cannot predict and have no control of these costs.

we ask for customer approval on a shipping quote,
based on destination, service, package size and actual weight.
please email us with your shopping requirements and postal code
and we shall email you a shipping estimate and a payment link
for your order.
please check your spam folder if you are expecting an email from us.
a customs surcharge of £21.75 per consignment applies to
non-eu countries.
refused parcels from abroad
if you refuse your parcel and it is returned to us, a restocking fee of £15
will be deducted from the return.

returns
please email us at mail@hedgehogshop.co.uk to advise us of
your intent to make a return or exchange.
this should be within 14 days of the dispatch of your order.
you should include your reason for return.
please specify in your subject heading whether you are
claiming for a refund or exchange.
we will send you an email in response confirming receipt
of your email.
please download and complete the returns form. this should
be completed with as much detail as possible.
if you would like to exchange an item, please state the desired item,
together with size, colour etc.
the product should be returned to us as soon as reasonably
practical and at your own cost, not later than
14 days after the day on which you informed us
of your intent to return.
securely wrap and package the product together with the
original packaging. please include the original packing slip
and completed returns form.

please ensure that any product returned to us is undamaged
in its original condition, fit for resale.
we suggest you use the original packaging in which the product
arrived. it is your responsibility to ensure that it is well packaged to
avoid damage in transit.
we recommend that you return products via registered post,
insured up to the value of the product as we cannot take
responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves.
when we receive the returned product we will examine it and
notify you of any refund that may be due.
we will not refund the cost of the original post and packaging.
we usually refund money using the same method originally used
by you to pay for your purchase.

damaged or defective products
if the product is damaged or defective on arrival please contact us
within 5 working days. please retain all packaging material.
returning a sale item
if you would like to return a sale item you must notify us within 7 days.
personalised and self-assembly products
we will not provide a refund or exchange on personalised products or
self-assembly products that have been assembled or part-assembled
unless they are damaged or faulty.
