tibetan 'lung ta' prayer flag bunting

traditional tibetan five colour wind horse flag bunting, 
representing the five elements, sky, air, fire, water
and earth. the centre of each flag features a lung ta,
strong horse, bearing three flaming jewels, and is 
surrounded by mantras.

a good omen, when the wind blows on the flags,
they are believed to spread blessings and
compassion. often hung in mountain passes to
bring luck and protection.
